Judith Eisenberg
Judith received her Bachelor's of Science from Stanford University in Mathematical and Computational Sciences, and then worked in high-tech in Silicon Valley for ten years. In 2000, she and her husband moved their young family to San Diego, trading in a fast-paced career for a more meaningful position in the non-profit world. She began working at the San Diego Humane Society as the Pet-Assisted Therapy Coordinator and continued in this position for 15 years. In 2014, Judith earned the Certificated Volunteer Administrator (CVA) professional credential and in 2015, she was honored as the recipient of the Richard Thurman Award, given by Mental Health America of San Diego County. Judith has been volunteering with Wee Companions Small Animals Adoption, Inc for over a decade and has now brought her expertise to the WC Board and Volunteer pool. Though Judith has training to handle quite large animals, she delights in having hamsters roll around in her hands, as well as receiving rattie kisses!
